Hajipir to Satyesh Brinechem Ltd. Company Road
Developing a Strategic Link Road in Kutch
The project involved the construction of a new road connecting Hajipir to Satyesh Brinechem Ltd. Company in Taluka Bhuj, located in the Kutch district of Gujarat.
With a project completion cost of ₹20.38 crore, this work aimed to improve industrial access and strengthen the transportation link between Hajipir village and the industrial establishment of Satyesh Brinechem Ltd., enhancing movement of goods, materials, and workforce in the region.
Scope and Nature of Work
The scope covered new road formation, including earthwork, granular sub-base preparation, wet mix macadam (WMM) laying, and bituminous surfacing to create a durable all-weather roadway.
The design focused on ensuring smooth connectivity to the industrial area while maintaining proper drainage, load-bearing capacity, and safety features suitable for industrial vehicle movement.
Execution Standards and Quality Control
The project was executed under the supervision of the Public Works Department (PWD), Government of Gujarat, adhering to standard road construction specifications and quality assurance protocols.
Each stage—from soil compaction and subgrade stabilization to bituminous paving—was implemented with strict material testing and geometric accuracy to ensure long-term performance and minimal maintenance requirements.
Outcome and Regional Impact
With a total project cost of ₹20.38 crore, the construction of the Hajipir–Satyesh Brinechem Road has become a key infrastructure link supporting industrial growth and accessibility in western Gujarat. The completed road enhances supply chain efficiency, connectivity, and transport safety, aligning with Gujarat’s broader initiative to improve rural–industrial infrastructure and promote sustainable regional development.
Enhancing Industrial and Rural Connectivity
The new road has significantly improved connectivity between Hajipir and Satyesh Brinechem Ltd., facilitating smoother transportation for industrial operations and local communities.
By providing reliable access to the plant site, the road supports industrial logistics, raw material transport, and local employment mobility, contributing to regional economic development in the Bhuj–Kutch industrial corridor.
