Solar project (10 MW) executed in Gujarat
Supporting India’s Solar Expansion through Precision Civil Works
The project involved the execution of civil works for a 10 MW Solar Power Project developed by Zamil Industrial at Dahisar, Gujarat. The work contributed to the creation of essential site infrastructure for solar energy generation, aligning with India’s growing focus on sustainable and large-scale renewable power capacity.
A&T Infracon’s role was to ensure durable foundations, graded terrain, and all-weather access across the solar park layout, forming the groundwork for efficient energy production.
Scope and Nature of Work
The project involved civil development works for the solar power installation, including site grading, leveling, and earthwork for module mounting layouts. Inverter and transformer foundations were constructed as per Zamil’s design requirements, along with underground cable trenching and ducting for electrical connectivity.
Internal access roads were developed for O&M movement, and perimeter fencing was provided for security and site demarcation. All works were executed to ensure structural stability, dimensional accuracy, and minimal environmental disturbance.
Engineering Execution and Quality Management
The project was completed under the technical supervision of Zamil Industrial’s engineering team, following precise construction standards for solar installations. Quality checks were conducted at every stage — from compaction testing and reinforcement verification to concrete strength evaluation. All materials, from aggregates to reinforcement steel, complied with IS and MORTH standards, ensuring consistent quality and performance under high temperature and load exposure conditions typical to Gujarat’s solar zones.
Outcome and Strategic Contribution
The 10 MW Solar Power Project for Zamil Industrial was successfully completed, providing a robust and well-executed foundation for renewable power generation in Gujarat. The infrastructure now supports efficient solar module installation, stable equipment foundations, and reliable internal connectivity — all essential for consistent power output and low maintenance requirements. This project highlights A&T Infracon’s expertise in solar infrastructure execution, reinforcing its contribution to India’s renewable energy transition through precision-driven engineering and timely delivery.
Adapting to Site and Climatic Conditions
Located in Dahisar, Gujarat, the project site presented challenges such as hard soil strata, intense sunlight, and limited water availability.
The construction team adopted optimized curing methods, water-conserving techniques, and precise scheduling to maintain quality without delays. Field operations were planned around high-temperature hours to ensure safe working conditions and sustained productivity.
